During my year studying abroad in Florence, Italy, (2008-09) I got the opportunity to take a painting class at L'accademia di Belli Arti a Firenze (The Academy of Fine Arts in Florence) One of my assignments was to create a self portrait using magazine cutouts. It was a very fun assignment.
The image above is the raw scanned image. The square image below was digitally edited and I've used that same image as my profile image for many of my online profiles and online social networking sites.
